Hawzah News Agency- The text of Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Mazaheri's condolence message following the martyrdom of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the accompanying delegation is as follows:

In the name of God

“To God we belong and to God we return”

The terrible accident that led to the martyrdom of the hard-working and serving president, the late Hujjat al-Islam Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, as well as the honorable minister of foreign affairs and the Friday imam of Tabriz City and the governor of East Azerbaijan and other companions, is a cause of great sorrow and grief. it is hoped that the grace of God Almighty and the perseverance and unity of the honorable nation of Iran will compensate for this unfortunate incident.

The honorable president was a humble, popular, and prolific personality who always had the desire to serve the nation and, in this direction, he used all his strength, God willing, this honest and sincere effort will be reflected in his performance in the presence of the Almighty God and the Holy Infallible, peace be upon them, to be accepted and cared for in a good way.

While offering condolences to the noble nation of Iran and the supreme leader of the revolution, and especially to all the survivors and bereaved families, I hope that God almighty has mercy on them, as well as patience, reward, and consolation. It is a matter for the affected families and it is hoped that the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the help and answered prayers of Hazrat Baqiat Allah al-Azam, will overcome this turbulent incident and period of anxiety, with steadfastness, vigilance, and national unity, and reach peace, and happiness. May God's blessings be upon you.
